you see, turkuzbek is a very popular ship(lie) between the countries turkey and uzbekistan. you see, this dynamic works because of the so-called "opposites attract trope" in which the two personalities clash together, but that is exactly what draws them to each other in the first place. uzbekistan is wary of change and reluctant to do so, as well as being afraid to break the serious, formal and ladylike facade she keeps up; however turkey encourages and helps her get out of her shell. they are both "silly and funny(tokki, 273)" and have both engaged in kicking irans butt before. turkey, in the modern day, seems to struggle to worm his way into uzbekistan's icy heart, but he doesn't seem to know that he's already won. for bonus fun and sillies, nyo uzbekistan and turkey would be such a stupid dynamic, whether platonic or romantic

moving on, we have what the author would like to call "the island lesbians," or otherwise known as the ship between jeju and okinawa. the key selling point here is their historical parallels of being treated as lesser than compared to the mainlanders, not to mention their dark pasts of uprisings being put down by the main governments. Calm

You and taeil would be seen just chilling on the couch, your head on Taeil's tummy while you and him were on yous phones while looking at whatever was interesting to yous eyes. Taeil's nails gently scrubbed against your scalp which comforted you.

You and Taeil were in comfortable silence, nothing to interrupt this moment or anything. Just silence.

Till taeil spoke.

"Baby, I love you so much, we usually won't ever have such moments like these." He said, his nails stopping their movement in hopes to get a response.. which he got. "Hm? I love you too.. we usually would be busy right now." You said and Taeil nodded.

laudna feels tears immediately well in her eyes. she doesn't wipe them away, feels them fall free from her eyes. her hands shake as she holds herself close. she'd always hated her hands, but ever since imogen walked into her life and started holding them and kissing them, she'd come to love them. her familiar, warm accent bleeds through as she speaks, telling laudna that she has her back. such a simple gesture, yet it means the world to her.

she feels like a monster more days. not just because of the actual monster in her head, but just from who she is now. so many turn away from her, so many are afraid of her. imogen is the only one who's never looked at her fearfully, not even from the start.

"thank you, darling," she says quietly, letting go of herself so she can reach a hand out for imogen's. her cold hand meets her warm one, and she resists the urge to pull her away from the others and pull her into their room so she can curl up against her like a cold cat and lay there for the rest of her days. "sorry. i don't know why i'm so emotional right now."
